Dimroid Technologies Ltd · RC 8255380 · Lagos, Nigeria · Now Accepting Engagements
Dimroid Technologies Ltd is a Nigerian software company building custom systems, intelligent automation, and a portfolio of owned platforms — on one shared Django backbone. It was founded by Ukwedje Taiwo Goodness and incorporated in Lagos on 10 February 2025 under CAC registration number 8255380.
₦50M S-VCG Grant Winner — 1 of 45, Federal Ministry of Education01 — What we are
Two things at once: a team you can hire to build software, and a set of products we own and run ourselves.
Dimroid does two kinds of work. The first is services — businesses hire us to build custom software, automate the parts of their operation that still run on manual effort, scrape and structure the data they need, and ship desktop tools that replace expensive subscriptions.
The second is products — SaaS platforms, desktop applications and automation scripts that Dimroid owns end to end. One of them, D-Rentals, won a ₦50M federal grant. The services work funds the product build; the products are what scale.
Underneath both sits a shared platform. Dimroid Technologies is built as an innovation hub and software infrastructure layer — the central backbone powering every subsidiary product. Licensing, update delivery, payment webhooks, content and legal policy are all solved once, at dimroid.com, and inherited by everything else we ship. New products get the plumbing instead of rebuilding it.
02 — Why we exist
The tools exist. What doesn't exist is a version a Nigerian business can actually afford to run.
Improve the economy, quality of life, and opportunities for people by creating impactful technology solutions.
That is the mission, and the affordability problem is where it starts. For almost every tool a Nigerian business needs, a foreign product already exists — and it is priced for a wallet earning in dollars. Converted into naira, a reasonable subscription becomes an unreasonable one, and the business either goes without or runs the work by hand.
Dimroid builds the alternative locally: African-built software, priced in naira, for Nigerian earning power. Same job, without the exchange rate doing the pricing. Owning the software outright — a desktop app with a licence key rather than a recurring foreign subscription — is often the difference between a tool a business uses and one it cancels.
The near-term goal is concrete: help 100 businesses replace manual work with something that runs itself. As already published in our privacy policy — we're here to build trust and create value. Impact first. The profit follows when you actually help people.
The longer view is the campus outward: become the leading voice in tech on the LASU Epe campus, expand to the main campus, then across Nigeria — building infrastructure people cannot do without.
03 — Business model
Campus products buy distribution. Commercial products monetize it. Contract services fund the build.
Free platforms serving LASU students. The goal is user base, community trust, and referrals — the distribution foundation for everything else.
Paid platforms solving real problems for Nigerian businesses and consumers, sold as subscriptions, credits, and one-time builds.
Custom development, automation, scraping, and desktop apps sold per project. This track funds product development.
04 — Who founded Dimroid
Dimroid Technologies Ltd was founded by Ukwedje Taiwo Goodness, who serves as Founder and Chief Executive Officer.
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
A Nigerian software engineer, and the person who writes most of what Dimroid ships. Dimroid started as personal engineering work — automation scripts and desktop tools built for businesses that needed them — and was incorporated as a private company limited by shares on 10 February 2025 once the work outgrew freelancing.
He leads product direction and engineering across the portfolio, and led the D-Rentals build that won the ₦50M S-VCG grant from the Federal Ministry of Education. He is also known as Dimeji, and his name is written variously as Taiwo Goodness Ukwedje, Taiwo Ukwedje and Dimeji Ukwedje.
05 — Funding & recognition
Awarded by the Federal Ministry of Education through the Student Venture Capital Grant, for D-Rentals.
The Student Venture Capital Grant is a Federal Ministry of Education programme. Dimroid was selected as one of 45 winners nationally from a field of more than 30,000 applicants, and the funding is equity-free — the company gave up no ownership to receive it. The grant was awarded for D-Rentals.
D-Rentals is a proptech platform that connects students to housing — linking them directly to available properties, and to the landlords and agents behind them. Students, agents and property owners each get their own account type, with verified listings, saved properties and real-time messaging between them.
It launched at Lagos State University's Epe campus, where student accommodation is handled almost entirely through word of mouth and WhatsApp groups, and where a signed partnership with the LASU Students' Union Government backs the rollout. Students are the starting point rather than the ceiling — the same problem exists in every university town in Nigeria.
D-Rentals is also the clearest example of how Dimroid is built: it runs on the same Django backbone, the same authentication and messaging layer, and the same shared infrastructure as everything else in the portfolio.
06 — Portfolio
Status is encoded by fill: solid is live, outlined is building, dashed is planned. A product that has not launched says so.
The hub of the entire ecosystem — API warehouse, storage backend, and unified gateway. Every subdomain depends on it for licensing, webhooks, updates, content, and legal infrastructure.
Verified student rental marketplace, live at drentals.dimroid.com. Role-based accounts for students, agents and property owners; video tours; real-time chat with typing indicators and read receipts; roommate compatibility matching; university-scoped subdomains. Launched at LASU Epe behind a signed partnership with the LASU Students' Union Government.
Retail marketplace where Dimroid is the merchant of record — customers buy from Dimroid, not a stranger, and every transaction is guaranteed. Six curated categories with FCCPA-compliant refunds, pre-sales chat, campus meetup scheduling with pickup-code verification, and vendor reputation.
One feed for campus events, club announcements, group links, and trending information — replacing the scatter of WhatsApp broadcasts students currently rely on.
Marketing students resell Dimroid automation scripts to businesses for commission — framed as real skill acquisition, bridging talent and theory.
Done-for-you digital platform for Nigerian car dealerships. Each dealer buys their own branded site — explicitly not a marketplace. Inventory management, lead capture, analytics, AI competitor pricing intelligence, and professional photography. Dealers own their platform, data, and customers.
AI developer verification. Submit a GitHub URL, and the platform scans repo structure, commit history, and code originality — then an agentic AI conducts a live viva on the candidate's own code and issues an authenticity score. Verifies code ownership, not just skill. Pitched at the GEF E-VILLAGE in Lagos.
QR and NFC-shareable profile platform — part business card, part link-hub, part portfolio. Free QR tier, Pro analytics and themes, and physical NFC cards. Sell the platform, not the plastic: the card is only the key to the ecosystem.
Aggregates real user commentary into a data-backed verdict on skincare products, with a Bleaching Alert system built for melanin-rich skin. Takes no brand sponsorship and never recommends products — it presents data.
E-commerce platform built from scratch — Paystack payments, full cart, AJAX interactions. Also the distribution channel for Dimroid's automation scripts and desktop apps, sold outright rather than by subscription: password management, file conversion, encrypted storage, bulk mail, price monitoring and more, all with activation-key licensing.
Desktop QR generator with styled output, logo embedding and high-resolution export. Activation-key licensing with device binding, offline grace periods and a self-updating installer. PyInstaller and Nuitka builds.
Multi-threaded port scanning and API security monitoring with AI threat intelligence — generates CVE insights, MITRE ATT&CK mappings and prioritised remediation reports.
One-click server cleanup with resource classification and dependency-safe deletion sequencing, working around the API's own limitations.
File organizer with preview-before-execute — you see the folder map it proposes before anything moves. AI mode analyses a directory and generates the structure for it.
Shareable countdown timers for launches, deadlines and events. Create a countdown, pick a theme, get a unique link instantly — with public and private modes and a JSON API.
